Lovely Lupins...

down at the river. Also, found the first beautiful  Melancholy Thistles and Globe Flowers. Disturbed three young Roe Deer on the grassy cliff above and encountered a family of newly fledged Wrens in the woods. The adult, in the extra, had at least three youngsters with it. They still have the soft yellow beaks of babies. A squirrel fed in the pines above the track.
Another good morning! 
Also met three friends in their gardens as I passed and enjoyed a good long blether and caught up with all the local news.
