Wildflower strip, Bearsted Woodland Trust

The Panasonic has gone off to be tested with repairs effected if feasible and economic. The FZ1000 is less than three years old, I would have expected it to work fault free for longer for what it cost. We’ll have to wait for the verdict.

It was a case of making slow progress on other seemingly intractable tasks of which the camera was but one. We’ve been trying to source a new seal for the bottom of the curved shower door. What a rigmarole. A search revealed a supplier whose website said it supplied seals for Aqualux. Their response to my email was that they didn’t! Another site required detailed measurements and quoted £40! Aqualux don’t answer their phone or emails. And so it went on.

I’m left with only the iPhone camera for the foreseeable future which will restrict subjects. No real closeups or fancy stuff. So today’s blip is of a strip of wildflowers in the Woodland Trust. Did anyone read about the response to a roundabout in Musselborough which was awash with colourful wildflowers? It looked magnificent but created much discussion about the impact of sowing seeds that were not of indigenous plants.
