From the other side

We have been walking up to this tower on Kinnoull Hill almost very day during the lockdown. A few days ago I noticed in a photo that there were cars in the Moncrieffe Hill car park across the valley. I had assumed it would be closed.

So today we drove (!) across Perth to Moncreiffe Hill and walked to the forts at the top and then around part of it. We even found a spot with a bench that we didn't know existed.

Well done the Woodland Trust for opening the car park, and fixing gates open so that they don't need to be touched. A boo for Forestry and Land Scotland for closing all their car parks (including Kinnoull Hill) without considering which ones are really needed for exercise, that could be used safely.
