Green

I'd originally headed towards Brewood to find the poppy fields I'd seen mentioned on social media.  I was distracted by the local canal, the Shropshire Union, as it passed through a deep cutting just south of the village.  I liked the textures and varying colours of green in this scene of a beech tree on the far bank.

I did find the poppy fields, but they will be worth another visit on better light.

I don't say this often but it does look better large.
