Daring to Hope
Love the purple grass all over Rectory Park at the moment, especially when covered in raindrops.
Spent the afternoon reading Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race, by Reni Eddo-Lodge. Chose to read that one because of the British perspective. Very good on understanding our white privilege, and how we need to see race to even begin to change. Recommended.
Got my newly refurbished laptop back and rebooked a ferry to Bilbao (Santander sailing already fully booked) for the night of the 28th June, leaving after midnight. Dare I even hope?? Also the hotel over the border in Portugal; who knows whether the rules in Spain will have changed by then??
Gratefuls:
- Joel upgrading my laptop, it's wonderful not to be struggling with it
- time to read, and folk who take the trouble to explain so others can understand better
- good health for us all, still
