First race of the year

Oh I was so happy when race day finally showed up, hadn't raced giant slalom in 2 years and wasn't even able to train gs before this race, so I was definitely nervous. I came out overall with a 4th place finish so I certainly cannot complain, and Uncle Tom was even there to see! This is a picture of Uncle Tom and I at the finish at the end of the day, so glad he's been home for a while after being on the West coast for so many years. It's nice having him back in our everyday lives, at least for the time being
