Speckled

Spent a couple of hours at the allotment doing fiddly hand-weeding/transplanting etc. Fed the blighters, of course. The bright spot, apart from all the bees in the comfrey, was this charming Specked Wood - her colour was actually more vivid (speckles much more golden) than the camera captured.

Had a Zoom meet up with some yoga chums in the evening. Amongst other things we spoke about the toppling of Colston's statue in Bristol and I was telling them a bit about the Merchant Venturers who I remember from my time living in the city. Late last night a friend send me a link to a statement they've issued - blimey!
