We’ve yet to live in a house in Australia where we don’t freeze our butts off each winter. This particular house has only split system for heating and the sliding doors and kitchen windows have no window coverings and no double glazing anywhere. So the second the heater is off the cold creeps in. Pips groegg in his bedroom is 10deg C in the mornings. Cold.
Just to top it off, the hot water is electrically heated in a tank and once it’s run out, it’s run out. And we seem to be running out very quickly of late. This poor shlub was the last one shower, add a hair wash in and it can get mighty chilly.
