After the rain

Early this morning the rain had stopped but the clouds were surrounding the house and area (see extra photo.) Visibility hardly extended beyond the garden wall. These lovely poppies have arrived from somewhere unknown but are perfectly positioned next to the crimson clematis. These blooms have been saturated by the rain but give character as well as the benefit of the adornment with the rain droplets. By the end of the morning the cloud had lifted and it became very warm and humid and a much nicer day.
This afternoon Ms. S had a wish and attacked the wild thatch on my head which now looks and feels much better.
