Goose Weather Vane

We had visitors!  Friends from Bristol came over.

The weather was forecast to be changeable, so I had put up an open-sided gazebo in the garden.

We went for a good walk up Lark Hill until we reached the Newbury Road, cut across to the Lockinge Point-to-Point Racecourse and then back via Goddard's Brook to Henrietta Knight's stables. The weather stayed dry until we got back to our house, and then it chucked it down!!!  Fortunately we managed to stay dry as we eat some lunch under the gazebo.  It felt good to be meeting up with somebody else; at a sensible distance of course.

I wanted to capture this clock tower and weather vane at the back of the stables.  It may have seen better days, but has a lot of character.
