Day 82 - slide show.

We are down to the really hard stuff with the sorting of my father-in-law’s house - letters, photos, jewellery, watches and old books. 

We’ve been today and retrieved an enormous number of slides; most of them are very dull shots of badly framed landscapes but there’s the odd gem. I fired up the slide projector, gave myself third degree burns and burnt a hole in the ozone layer - how on earth did people’s houses not burn down? 

Back home, we’ve had a lovely pasta dinner and are now watching Spider-Man Far From Home. Sarah likes Tom, I like Jake, win win.
