Maintenance

The servicing of the living room a/c is long overdue. I'm so pleased it got done today - by the same person who installed it I-don't-know-how-many-years-ago for the previous tenant. He gave me the time of 10 am which is the latest he's ever started. It was perfect. It gave me time to get the room ready.

All done in less than an hour. I then got in touch with a guy who's selling a scanner on Dubizzle. We settled on a price and I went to fetch it. A few hours of the afternoon were spent setting it up. It is an old model but never been used, still in its original box. The only thing missing is the setup CD, which is a bummer because I actually need it.

The advantage of it is it's small, the largest size it can scan is A6 and it does it very quickly and very well. I think the original software would help restore colours. We watched the DVD of the 2015 remake of The Little Prince after AGES.
