Dreich day. Indoors most of the time apart from our afternoon outing - we drove to town, parked at the outskirts and walked to the Bank. Or Banks. Nationwide had no money in it’s machine. We went to Santander - their machine broke down causing the young customer in front of us some problems. So we went to the RBS - success. It’s the first time I’ve been in town since late February. Pretty much everything is still closed apart from the butchers, opticians, pharmacy and the supermarket. A lot of hand sanitiser was used. I’m told a few shops in the retail park are open, more will open in Phase 2.

Dropped younger son off at a low key birthday meal - gazebo and Chinese carry out - the birthday girl had a good time by all accounts.

My wife persevered with a jigsaw. And completed it.

Older son and fiancé decorated - good use of time off - it was the main topic of Family FaceTime. They’ve done well. Always have a coffee during our chat, (see 31 March 2020 photo). The package contains our selected coffee pods - almost next day delivery - my current favourite is the blue Vivalto Lungo pod.... “Vivalto Lungo is a balanced coffee made from a complex blend of separately roasted South American and East African Arabicas, combining roasted and subtle floral notes.” Allegedly.
