Cowthorpe Church
I set off on my bike again this afternoon with low expectations for good weather. I was pleasantly surprised when the sun actually came out and things warmed up considerably. I ventured further than planned and ended up in the little village of Cowthorpe. At the end of a lane I found this lovely old church. Some other cyclists were also having a look around and pointed out that St. Michael's Church is a Grade I listed 14th century church under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust. Nowadays it is redundant as a Church. Unfortunately it is currently closed due to the Covid situation, so I couldn't take a look inside.
The tower struck me as being quite impressive and military looking.
It's only a phone picture, and I had a job getting it all into the frame.
