Saturday: #30DaysWild - More Flowers ...

... for pollinators. 
Today’s flowers: along top - dark pink Cosmos, just starting to flower; white Pea flowers with a few small pods developing; a new flower which came in a mixed seed packet  - might be a small blue Cranesbill/Geranium it’s very dramatic amongst the pink & white flowers; bottom row - rocket salad flower which are edible and tasty; old fashioned pink Sweet William which has the best scent! & white flowers on prickly Pyracantha/Firethorn which will have berries for the birds in the Autumn.
Started a new family tree for a family who lived a couple of miles inland when we were kids, always thought they were related but my “cousin” asked me where our shared family were a few years ago, thought it would be an interesting project ... not feeling too confident, many of the men are called John or William Parry!!
