Flowers, mine workings and a tarn

There were foxgloves everywhere as we walked up Tilberthwaite Ghyll in the sunshine this afternoon. We looked at rocks amongst the mine workings, admired the pools and waterfalls in Greenburn Beck, and I had a dip in Greenburn Tarn (formerly a reservoir but now disused with the dam partly washed away, with clear and very refreshing water).
