A dull day with rain in the afternoon

After a busy week, a day of rest. In the afternoon we went for a walk along the shore at Broughty Ferry. One of the sights was the Lifeboat, which is often very busy. It has gone through some difficult crew problems recently but that has settled down recently.

We were still long way from the car when the rain started. It reminded us how few days of rain we had had in the last three months. The shoreline is getting dug up for a new flood defence programme. It should help in the future.
