Giant Cow Parsley
These plants on the roadside verge are at least 7 foot high (normally around 2ft high) and the stems near the ground are more than an inch in diameter. I can only think it is a combination of the shade from the large trees behind and the roots fed by the brook in the ditch. I wonder if this normal in other parts of the country?
