Now you see it...

Saturday was the sort of day you feel sorry for tourists.

The haar was in all day. It was cold and grey throughout. You could not see Arthur’s Seat which was shrouded in mist. The tops of tall buildings disappeared into the grey. And this was the view of Edinburgh Castle . The buildings on the left are the houses in Ramsay Garden. For those who don’t know the castle is straight ahead.

Contrast that with the images from Trooping the Colour from Windsor in brilliant sunshine. Makes us appreciate the sun when it does shine.
