Storm cloud and barn owl

We went to visit the highest art installation in Yorkshire but this beauty trumped the record of that view. Instead of film night, we plumped for fresh air, heading up to The Coldstones Cut.  Barny caught our eye as it was flying away but not before we'd managed to pull over and enjoy it lit up by the evening sun against a rumbling sky.  We both envisaged having to drive back soaking wet but luckily, we managed a dry but eerie, cloud level walk up to the quarry for an explore. It's an impressive place on many counts, not least for another sighting of a barn owl.
