Diamonds

Weather was nicer than I expected this afternoon, and was invited round to a friend’s house for a coffee in the garden.  I took a flask with iced coffee as it was quite warm by then.  I noticed this plant on her patio - the remaining raindrops inside the leaves looked like diamonds in the sunlight.  The sign at the side of the plant says “NO idea what this is!”.  PlantSnap tells me it is a “balloon flower” - the leaves don’t look quite right, but I’m no gardener!  Home now, and making tea before our community choir quiz this evening.  Still not got round to making the lime curd.  Maybe tomorrow?!
