Peonies...

...as seen on my walk this morning. What a difference being three blocks further from the Lake makes, as this mass of beautiful, blooming peonies is at their peak, while my peonies--being closer to the Lake--are just getting the small round buds at the tops of the stems.  We're having a run of really gorgeous, sunny weather that's supposed to last for at least the next 7 days, which is great because I plan on having lunch outside tomorrow. My step-daughter and the twins are coming up from Arkansas tonight and will be coming to our house tomorrow to spend the day. Jennie and her girls will be coming too, so we'll all be together for the first time in ages! We'll be masked and socially distanced to protect Tom, & we'll be outside, but we'll still all be together, & we can't wait!  Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!  :))
