Self service

These feeders are outside of the kitchen window, and I can't usually get close to them without the birds flying away. However recently there has been at least a couple of families stuffing their faces almost all of the time, so I stood quite close and stayed still, and these two didn't seem to be put off. 
For a couple of days, the young ones sat on the pole while the parents flew in and out to feed them, but now they mostly help themselves.

We have finally found feeders that keep the squirrels and big birds out, though they do wait under the feeders to get the stuff the wee birds drop, so it's a busy wee feeding spot.
