Our marsh

In front of the house are our saltings. From on high they create various weird and wonderful shapes.
Another glorious day. So much so, I had to do something I thought I never would on Uist - seek out shade.
Lunch with a neighbour, outside of course, was a gentle summery roast pork with the trimmings and rhubarb crumble.
For the first time for some time, the wind dropped out and so my bird nets went up without much effect -  one Robin and one SongThrush. Not really pushing back the limits of ornithological research.
