Abandoned.

This was a beautiful pond Pete made, with a stream running into it, not long after we moved here 17 years ago. A couple of years ago the stream developed a leak so we got some local gardeners in to sort it but they turned out to be a crowd of rogues and absolutely ruined it. We asked them to take out all the water mint and leave the water lilies and iris along with some other aquatic plants in the pond but instead they took everything out except for the mint. They refused to do anything about it so now it’s overgrown with mint. So this is my abandoned pond. 

I’m having the garden re designed in order to make it dog friendly. It will not be started for a while yet because of lockdown.
