This is a view from the halfway point of today's bike ride, looking down towards the town of Burntisland on the north shore of the River Forth and directly across the water from Edinburgh. The mist remained the dominant weather feature all day and this was about as good as the views got. On the upside, it was pleasantly warm and there was zero wind to contend with. The extra shot is a similarly gloomy view from the coastal path between Kirkcaldy and Kinghorn.
