How many beans makes 5?

My dad used to ask me that all the time, used to drive me wild!
The beans on the left arrived from S's yesterday and I planted them today. The ones on the right arrived from M's two weeks ago. There should have been twelve, I think there are 5 or 6 in OK ish conditon after much nurturing since they arrived. There should also have been 12 in the pack from S's. Most of the cells had two plants in them, and most of them looked well so looks like I shall be swimming in runner beans in a month of so. I won't be ordering from M's again though. The sweet peas were bad and so were the beans whereas the other company seems so much better at packing, all in cardboard, no plastic either (apart from the growing pots,) and at shipping.
Our this morning in the damp for my walk then back in time for Sunday service. This afternoon I spent a long time in the garden, planting up, replanting moving things and general tidying around. I also decided to try some of the tomatoes in the wee plastic greenhouse I bought a couple of years ago. I don't hold out a lot of hope though as it kept blowing away last time.
We had a Chinese takeaway this evening we were both too tired to be bothered cooking.
