The return of the sun

This weekend is a kind of a "festival" for M and me every year. The sun is now high enough on the sky to be able to reach our allotment cotttage and our flat. Even if we have at least a month or two of winter left we know that the dark part of the winter is over.

The birds were very happy that the bird-feeders were filled up again! Great tits, blue tits and nuthatches were very busy to fill up their wee tummies. A treecreeper was also spotted.

Temperature was -6°C and there was no wind.
