Cedar Waxwing

A trip to the Nisqually Delta today afforded us to see quite a few birds, and this Cedar Waxwing was my favorite as I've never ween one out here...I have back in Ohio , my homestate, but not out here for whatever reason.  So we were thrilled...prior to going to the Delta we stopped to walk around the farmer's market in Olympia, Wa...our state's Capitol.  It was a good day...rising late, reading the paper with tea for me and coffee for Big R and Cowboy his usual:)  Cool temps  made for a pleasant walking day too.
