Beauty

Today seemed very much to be a day focused on beauty and self-image.
I started my day by straightening out my hair - something I rarely do because it takes so long. I had no choice today because I had run out of hair products and my recent online-haul had not arrived (it arrived about 15 minutes after my marathon straightening-session).

The girls and I then sat in Cathays Park to take in a little fresh air and sunshine. There was a girl in the park modelling - she was skeletal and incredibly cold. It was odd to see the photographs being taken. I expect that the finished products will be far more glamorous than the actual event.

I then took myself into town and spent a gift voucher which has been burning a hole in my purse for a long time.
I treated myself to Dr. Jart's Water-Max Sleeping Mask which I *highly* recommend, along with Dr. Jart's Beauty Balm, also amazing. Finally, I got Rimmel's Matte Lipstick, by Kate Moss apparently. I've been wanting a big, bold red for a long time but I much prefer a velvety, matte look to shiny, wet looking lips.

Aaaannyway, the girls and I spent the evening prepping for our evening out, I spent many hours rummaging through all of my clothes which I love but unfortunately none of them fit me. We danced for hours in Welsh Club and then met the boys in our favourite haunt, Live Lounge. I fell into bed at 3am, very satisfied with my day.

Since I have talked so much about appearance today I thought I would share a snap or two of my day, along with this beautiful one from the park.
