Lonely gloves

Photo opportunities abound after the snow has gone and our walls and railing are colourfully decorated with lost hats, scarves and single gloves. I see it as a sort of urban art. Its also a sad fact that these items will probably never be reunited with there grieving owners. Its especially sad for the solitary glove that is lost and left on display in the vain hope the owner will return to reunite the glove with its other hand. But I guess this rarely happens. Maybe it needs some bright spark to start a web site: glovesreunited.com or maybe a new fashion trend of wearing non matching gloves is the way to go.

Anyway if anyone wishes to be reunited with the gloves in the picture, well they are decorating the iron gate that accesses the Blackford Hill foot path from the field off Midmar Drive Edinburgh.
