It Is Not Raining. It Is Dense Fog.
Today’s Blipfoto features the result of Dense Fog on leaves. Very impressive droplets. There are no puddles. Many areas look dry, but it is very wet as far as greenery goes.
Visibility is about 50 metres, however, it might improve during the day. The temperature is 12C. Relative Humidity is 100%
This is summer weather on the East Coast of Scotland. Despite the statistics it is quite pleasant to be out and about.
The planned grass cutting is definitely removed from the activity list.
Spent the morning in discussion about the letter carving to be carried out above the vestry door with Emil T, our stone carver artist. I think we have reached agreement, so watch this space!
We are having a marriage lintol incorporating a French motto and two astrological signs. It should be good.
Also being discussed is a circle or semicircle of standing stones located in front of the heat pumps in memory of the four pet rabbits who have lived with us.
Over the years, I created a series of cartoons recording their activities and their observations on our activities. I am sure there is a book in this.
Spending time being Shielded certainly does inspire all sorts of creative ideas. My list has become really quite long. No matter how long Shielding lasts we have plenty to do.
Back to the Blipfoto. I have no idea what the plant is. It is a Volunteer.
