Sunday lunch!

You know this little steamer is the coolest thing ever. It cost £12 and has the most basic operation you can imagine. However it makes a great job of an assortment of veg and of course spuds. I'd really recommend it as a kitchen essential.

So, I blip this for two reasons. The first is detailed above, and the second, is to recommend another product.

The little blue dots you see on the timer didn't come with the steamer but were placed on by me. They are strategically placed at 15 minute intervals. This makes life easier as you don't need to screw your face up looking for the 15, 30, 45, 60 min values. I use these dots on loads of things - including my iPad cover for the volume controls. Anywhere where it's hard to see the buttons or see their values. The!y can be purchased in the supermrket - 100s on a sheet for 99p!

Honest I am getting old I'm not getting old - but these little things save me running trying to find glasses as my reading eyesight has taken a turn for the worst over the last few years!
