Refreshments
Went for a walk from Arncliffe to Litton in rather hot conditions. It was a fantastic walk along one of The Yorkshire Dales quieter valleys.
The path comes out just opposite The Queens Arms in Litton and usually that alone would be reason enough to do the walk. However in these strange times I thought I’d have to make do with just sitting down and having a rest before my return.
There were four people sat at another table and we started chatting. It turns out that they were the owners of the pub and the landlord brought me an ice cold pint of water. It was the best and most welcoming drink I think I’ve had all year! Suitably refreshed I set off and retraced my steps back to Arncliffe. A fabulous little walk.
