The Ennerdale Valley from Great Gable

Large on Black PLEASE!


Walked over Green Gable, Great Gable, Brandreth and Grey Knotts today. It started very hot, humid and hazy, but did clear as the day went on. This was taken at around 1.15, when the sky had some colour in it, and the cumulus clouds were fabulous. It features Great Gable on the left, then Kirk Fell, Pillar, High Style and High Crag, Bannerdale is to the right. I thought the cloud shadows in the mid-ground helped to separate it from the foreground.

Ended tired, but feeling great after such a great walk.
