The way we were

Both off today as Autumn was heading back to London and needed a lift to the airport in Cork. After we'd dropped her we went into the city for a bit. Strange and familiar. It's been a few months since we've walked these streets, odd to be among so many people again..
We sat in the park, eating a sandwich and drinking takeaway coffee. Pigeons encroaching for crumbs, kids playing, drunks being raucous, not much seems to have changed .
