Building up

Today felt a little hard work but you can rely on Malham Moor to give you a lift as you top out. I usually do this route in reverse and take the other side of Malham Cove but I fancied a change and it didn't disappoint.  I set off at a decent hour hoping to miss the scattered showers that were forecast.

A lucky hare and two redstarts kept the weather on my side and those clouds on the other.  

I stopped for a quick snack a little further on than this, deciding that the five second rule didn't apply to an oatcake landing in sheep poo. I wasn't that hungry!
