Here They Come!

Took our two students to Plantsbrook Nature Reserve today, it was brilliant. First time I've ever seen grebettes; also cooties, both chicks with their red heads, and juveniles. Loads of coots on their nests, moorhens, a flock of Canada geese, an egret, a muscovy duck, a pair of Peking ducks... We walked round two of the lakes on excellent paths and boardwalks.

Gratefuls:
- a new place to observe Nature
- visiting friends in their gorgeous garden this afternoon
- getting to know Karis a bit better
