Vegetable thoughts

Walk and a picnic today. The sun shone!

I like the neatness of this tattie field and wish I'd been passing at the right time to see the machinery that planted and earthed them up.

I planted out some baby leeks this afternoon and a row of broccoli plants.

Last week a rabbit appeared close by the house. First I've ever seen in the garden, though of course there are dozens in the fields round about.
I wonder if the veg plants will still be there in the morning....?
