Holiday plans

Another wet, dreich day ... so I'm turning my thoughts to African sunshine! In April I'm off to Botswana to visit my cousin who lives there.

Her dad, my late uncle, was a medical missionary in a village called Molepolole on the edge of the Kalahari desert. I visited them there in 1974 and again in 1997 and have been promising myself another visit since I retired a couple of years ago and this year it's going to happen .. my flights are booked!

Among other things I'm hoping for lots of good blipping opportunities .. watch this space in a couple of months' time!
