Cheers!

I was just setting out on my walk this morning when I received a text message from one of my friends. The message asked if I would be at home between 12.30 and 1.30pm to receive a delivery. She had finally got round to organising my birthday present (my birthday was in April!) and it was on its way. [We usually meet up for a meal on each other's birthdays, but my birthday meal this year was a virtual affair conducted over Zoom.]

Quick change of plan in terms of my route, and I arrived home slightly breathless shortly after 12.30. About 15 minutes later this box of goodies arrived. It was a complete surprise, and a very welcome addition to the day. Slàinte!
