Sea

The morning was blah and none of us had slept well and technology was playing up.

Onwards and upwards, MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr ditched school after lunch and biked down to the beach. Fantastic that CyclopsJnr is big enough to makes this journey. I used to take him in his pushchair but it is a mile up a steep hill home. Well it was an overcast midweek day so it was easy to keep our distance from people, and it was warm enough to be in shorts and t-shirts, and the nearby cafe was playing some enjoyable outdoor music. We had a nice time paddling and digging and collecting shells/pebbles. Then soft touch MrsCyclops hauled a bucket of such 'precious' bricks home up the steep hill.
