Two Squirrels

We should have believed the weather forecast. I said we would have thunderstorms and rain after 1pm. Well it said that yesterday and it didn't happen, just a bit of distant thunder.

So, this afternoon we went to the lodge to mow the lawn. I raked up Monday's strim of the long grass while The Man followed with the mower for a closer cut. We had hardly started when we heard the first roll of thunder. It got louder and louder. We made plans for who would run with which bit of the gear when the rain came!

Let's go!

It absolutely poured! We sat on the sheltered veranda and watched the flashes of lightning and the splashing rain.

When we got home we were delighted with the sight of both squirrels in the garden. I put a shot with both of them on in Extras. It isn't often they're both still enough in the garden together.
