River Avon

Looking downstream towards Marlcliff from the bridge at Bidford-on-Avon.
Yet another walk from Bidford and this time across the meadows to Barton and back.
We had spent an hour or so being shown around the new apartments in Bidford on the site of the old doctors surgery and very nice they are too, overlooking the river.
Afterwards back to my sister in law’s for a drink but then the heavens opened, thunder and lightning as well so we decided on having an early meal before the walk. We sat outside for that under their new gazebo as the storm passed by.
