120 year old toy

Another grey but increasingly mild day with hints of sunshine at the end.

As a break from garden photos, this is a toy horse from the 1890s. It was part of my late relative’s belongings and has clearly seen better days. It s a candidate for the Repair Shop but has clearly been much loved and played with.

It is on (slightly uneven) wheels and I may blip the full toy in future.

We know its approximate age because we have a photo of my late relative’s mother - Elsie - as a child holding it.
