From where I'm sitting

Another day, another impromptu trip to London. This time to take the little Gs round the dinosaur exhibition at the Natural History Museum... They loved it. Particularly the animatronic T-rex and the blue whale skeleton. The old favourites are still the best. I last took them there last April, and it's amazing what a difference 10 months makes to the experience - this time there was no need for a pushchair (although Littler G did have several rides on Daddy's shoulders) and much more appreciation of what we were seeing.

For me, the best bit is the building itself. This was taken looking up in the central hall (ignoring the crowds and the Diplodocus skeleton) but I could have happily spent the whole day snapping the bricks and the dinosaur shadows, although that may have stretched even Mr G's patience to breaking point!
