Lavenders

It seemed appropriate to blip lavender as that has taken up the best part of two days with the pruning.  Job completed this afternoon, and very thankful that the weather held as rain is predicted.  We need rain urgently.
This was the last plant standing, I went and got my camera and macro lens, I've pretty much put the lens inside the bush to find something interesting rather than the dried up head.  Quite liked this little gem halfway up the stem.

The country is in an uproar with what happened yesterday with the two women having Covid and being released from isolation without testing and allowed to travel from Auckland to Wellington.  Today, other situations are coming out which just confirms how inadequate our Government/Ministry of Health protocols were, a big shakeup is now underway.  Radio and TV news are full of it, and radio talk back shows how angry callers are.  Incompetence !!  And because of this 320 people have been tracked and now into forced isolation.  Oh yes, incompetence!!!
