John's Garden

This morning I went and did some weeding for John.  Naturally Lottie came too, but she was on her long lead and was quite happy snuffling about.  

This is John's back garden, his woodland.  When he and Bobby moved here 30 plus years ago it was a field, now it is wonderfully wild and full of interesting plants and wildlife.  Such an achievement and a terrific legacy to leave. Happily I was weeding his front garden, which is much less wild!  

Seasoned blippers will probably remember lots of photos of dear old Ollie in this same spot.  Sometimes the things Lottie does and the way she seems to know things, makes me think that she and Ollie are in cahoots with each other!
