Relight My Fire

A rather dark title for my photos today as we received a call this morning to attend the Glasgow Royal Infirmary Burns Unit for a pre-op assessment, operation skin graft is going ahead tomorrow morning. Joseph Lister was a surgeon and medical scientist who was the founder of antiseptic medicine and a pioneer in preventative medicine.

My album of the day is "Rattle That Lock" by David Gilmour. All the ingredients you would expect, melodic guitar solos, atmospheric keyboards and a Floydesque lead vocal, but there's something missing. There are some standout tracks as well as a few low points, however, if you're looking for an ear worm look no further than the title track. I bought the album after waiting for a train in Angouleme, the jingle throughout the track is used by the French SNCF for announcements.
