Wednesday's painting...

Painting for today. Carried on with yesterday’s type of painting. As in the You tube video of yesterday. 

Did two 8 inch canvases with washi tape dividing into 4. 

Main pic is both canvases, the purply one done first on top, the other done second underneath, with the washi tape pulled off when dry. 

Second pic in extras, is both canvases before washi tape is taken off. It took less than half hour to do each.

On the main pic, I prefer the second painting (the one underneath), because it gives me ideas of colour combinations for moody landscapes...

The first painting (purply) I will probably put it into one of my digital apps and work from there with it.


In the extra, I have to sayI like the paintings before I pulled the washi tape off! Also when I pulled the washi tape off, I was screwing it in a ball to throw away, when I thought hey stop...the paint on the washi tape looked interesting. And so, I carefully straightened it out again, and put it on a sheet of plastic. I have no idea what I would use it for, but it has potential for something!
